What this site is

This is Jenny Ashby's fan club and music site. It lets you join a free email list, vote on songs, buy music, and order a custom chorus. This page explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

• Your email address, when you join the list or buy something, plus when and where on the site you agreed to get emails.
• Who invited you, if you joined through a friend's link, so your friend gets credit for the invite.
• Your votes in the monthly Spotify vote. The public leaderboard shows only totals, never who voted for what.
• Orders: what you bought, the amount, and the payment reference from Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
• Tips: the amount, the name and note you choose to add, and your email from Stripe, so we can thank you.
• Custom Chorus requests: the names, occasion and story you type into the form, so the chorus can be written.
• A small note in your browser (local storage) that remembers your personal link and, if you came from a friend's link, who invited you. It is not used for advertising.

How we use it

• To send you the songs and emails you signed up for, including your weekly songs, receipts and download links.
• To run the club: unlocking songs, counting votes, managing memberships, and delivering what you order.
• To keep the site safe, for example to stop fake sign-ups and repeat votes.

We only email you about Jenny's music, your orders and your membership. Every list email has an unsubscribe link that works immediately. We don't sell your email address.

Who helps us run the site

We use a few services, and they only get what they need to do their job:

• Stripe takes payments and runs the "Manage subscription" page.
• Systeme.io holds our email list and tags (for example, who is a member).
• An email delivery service sends our emails.
• YouTube. Videos and songs on this site play in YouTube's privacy-enhanced player, which does not set tracking cookies until you press play. When you do, YouTube's own policies apply.
• Our web host stores the site's data securely.

Cookies and tracking

This site has no advertising trackers or analytics of its own. Stripe's checkout and YouTube's players may use their own cookies under their own policies.

How long we keep things

We keep your information while you're on the list or a member. If you unsubscribe, we keep your email address on a do-not-email list so we don't email you again by mistake. Order records are kept as long as needed for accounting and support.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe from any email with the link at the bottom.
• Cancel your membership any time from "Manage subscription" on your Invite page.
• Ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you: reply to any email we've sent you.

Children

This site is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date above.
